As part of a consultation an assistive technology specialist will meet with key stakeholders to examine and discuss your Assistive Technology provision. Areas covered in consultancy include:

• Infrastructure to support integrating provision of AT solutions
• Assessment structure and techniques
• Professional development pathways
• Integration of Assistive Technology with curriculum and/or life-skills
• Strategic integration of Assistive Technology goals into your quality improvement plan.

A full report will be provided to you with prioritised action points to enable you to integrate your AT development with your quality improvement planning.

Assessment of learners’ Assistive Technology needs can also be provided. This will ensure individuals or groups have the correct technology to meet targets in their current environment and support their progression.
