This interactive workshop is aimed at all members of staff and aims to ensure they have the skills to include all learners in their teaching. It’s relevant to staff in both the specialist and general FE sectors.
Throughout the day you’ll cover 10 quick fire topics. Using hardware and software that is either free or you are likely to have already, our assistive technologists will outline adjustments and additions that can transform your teaching. There’s also a chance to get hands-on with many of the technologies and network with colleagues.
Topics covered include:
- Phone apps to aid learning
- Making your documents accessible
- Use your voice to write
- Small settings change which make a massive difference
- Office Learning Tools
- Digital resources and more.
The workshop is available as an external training session or as an in-house training session for an individual provider. It runs as a full day workshop.
